The cornerstone of this business is the setting that allows us to create our custom images. Our 1100 square foot studio is ideal for photographing both large and small groups. The spacious camera room can accommodate up to 35 people and includes many background sets and props that are ideal for all types of portraiture. And surrounding the studio is our delightful portrait park which is constantly being developed in order to provide our clients with beautiful environmental photography.

Olana Norman Photography has progressively grown into a complete full service photography studio. Continually improving all areas of the studio and park is what helps us keep that fresh new look in your portraits. Camera Room

The heart and soul of the studio, we take very much pride in the camera room. This large space has been moulded into a fantastic area enabling Olana to create unique images for our clientele. Each set has been custom painted to meet the quality of portraiture that we strive for and our clientele demands. Constant changes to backgrounds every year enables us to display a fresh new approach for our returning clientele. A variety of classical props such as the entrance arch, full columns, the elegant wing back chair and the matching stairways combined with their own set, help make each scene unique. This year we have just created a new deep brown background as well as a complimentary arch that looks wonderful from every angle. Outdoor Portrait Park

The central focus of our personal outdoor portrait park lays within the beauty of the classic Fairytale Gazebo. But hidden away from the Gazebo are the many treasured coves that help us create those timeless portraits. The studio is surrounded by over 3 acres of private settings where mother nature plays host to your portrait session.

Year 2000 saw us add a curved set of stairs to the long winding brick wall, which adds a hint of grandeur to your backdrop. The Gazebo was refinished with new arches and has been changed to a deep brown color. As well, a patio area has been built for our clients to relax and take in the sites and sounds of nature while the bride and groom are being captured on film.

 The studio entrance now has a brick design, and several more full sized weeping birch, oak and Ohio buckeye have been added to the west park. The gorgeous vines on the gazebo, archway and patio area are getting to be more established, as well as our 'Snow on the Mountain', and Russian olive bushes. 2002 promises to be another full year of changes. The driveway will be changed to include new lighting and bushes set among rocks, all surrounded by charcoal colored creative curb. And more Ohio buckeye trees will be added to the park.

Consultation and Dressing Rooms

The consultation room was designed with our clients in mind. This warm and inviting room creates the perfect ambiance to plan your upcoming session and portrait details. It is here that you can view our portfolios and see the displays of Art Leather Albums and Folios, as well as the wide variety of frames in stock. To the side of the consultation room are the reception area and detailing room where all the retouching, artwork and framing is done. As well, a fairytale dressing room has also been designed for our clientele. This warm and relaxing room is most often used by brides to relax, freshen up and make those last minute preparations prior to their wedding portrait session.

Viewing Area

Portrait sessions need to be both relaxing and enjoyable, which is why we have dedicated an area inside the camera room where our clients can sit back and enjoy other family members experiencing their portrait session. This area is also wonderful for wedding guests as families and long time acquaintances can both relax and visit with one another while the bride and groom are being photographed.
