Olana Norman Photography is situated on an acreage only 1 minute south of Salisbury Greenhouses in Sherwood Park. We have 3.5 acres of picturesque surroundings in a private setting, as well as an 1100 sq. ft. camera room which can accommodate both large and small wedding parties. Weddings

The detailed planning of your wedding portraiture will enable us to give you the perfect wedding memories that you deserve. An initial appointment with both the bride and groom is made to discuss your desired wedding coverage and preferred style of photography. After viewing our wedding portfolios, we fully explain the wedding collection packages and other special services that are available. These include black and white exposures, studio and location portraiture, length of sessions, as well as options for your finished portraits such as hand tinting, gift mounts, folios, frame selection, dry mounting and canvas mounting. As well, an engagement and/or pre-bridal session appointment may be planned depending on your wedding portraiture needs.

As Olana Norman Photography wants to give you our best service, we include a pre-wedding consultation appointment approximately two weeks prior to the wedding date to confirm your wedding details and plans. Each wedding is treated as a unique event in order to capture the love and special feelings on your wedding day.

Wedding Collections

Olana Norman Photography has several wedding collections available to enable you to share your wedding day with so many others. Each collection includes the formal portrait session and an exquisite 24 or 30 page Art Leather Album filled with a combination of 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 images. Also part of the collection is a 11x14, 16x20, 20x24, 24x30 or 30x40 wall display portrait that is custom cropped and printed, mounted on masonite and finished with a lacquer for added protection. In addition, there are individual enlargements set in beautiful Art Leather Folios available as gifts for your family and friends. Our collections also include an assortment of 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 prints set in gift mounts. Some collections have been expanded to include the Pre-Bridal and Engagement Sessions, Pre-Ceremony and Ceremony sessions. Following is a little more information on each type of session we offer...

The Formal Wedding Session - The main part of your wedding portraiture will be photographed at the studio, outdoor portrait park or at another pre-selected location. The wedding couple, wedding party and the parents/grandparents are photographed at this time. The number of previews available from the formal session will vary depending on the size of wedding party and the number of people involved. Your Formal Wedding Session is included in each package, but you can also select packages for your wedding dream day which include one or more of the following sessions....

The Engagement Session - This session may be photographed at the studio or as an environmental session and is included with most packages. This is a wonderful way to capture your natural personalities in a comfortable setting. Many couples select a location with significance or include items that have special meaning to them. The options for this session are endless and is limited only to the imagination.

The Pre-Bridal Session - This portrait session of the bride in her gown is usually taken 3 - 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. It will give you many more cherished memories of your gown in exciting and beautiful poses without the time constraints of a busy wedding day. Our brides always thank us for offering Pre-Bridal session as this is where the fantasy wedding images are created. The Pre-Bridal is dedicated to capturing the beauty of both the bride and the wedding gown and is a 'must have session' for your elaborate wedding gown.

The Pre-Ceremony Session - Consider your entire wedding day... from makeup and hair, to the final minutes prior to the ceremony - let us capture it all. These treasured moments are often forgotten as the wedding day fades into memory. This session allows you to preserve your poise and grace as you get ready to be joined in marriage with your new love.
